空间地球科学研究院执行院长,特聘教授,博士生导师, IEEE Fellow,欧洲科学院(Academia Europaea)外籍院士。硕博士毕业于美国德州大学阿灵顿分校大学(1985-1990)。1991-2013年曾先后在中国台湾中央大学、美国华盛顿大学、美国德州大学阿灵顿分校工作;2014年入选国家特聘专家,2014-2024先后任职于中科院遥感与数字地球研究所、桂林理工大学;2024.01起就职南京大学苏州校区空间地球科学研究院特聘教授。荣获 2021 IEEE GRSS Fawwaz Ulaby Distinguished Achievement Award 杰出成就奖,现担任IEEE Transactions on Geoscience 副总主编,多个IEEE相关期刊主编、副主编,同时担任Proceedings of the IEEE 和 IEEE Access 期刊编委。
